Climate Control as a Cultural Praxis. Notes on the Climatic Legacy of the Concept of Habitat

In the following article, architectural theorist Sascha Roesler examines his recent research on practices of climate control in cities in light of his earlier studies on the concept of habitat of the 1950s. The central legacy of the discourse of habitat consists in the culturally comparative approaches to environmental and climatic themes in architecture, which need however to be updated in times of the Anthropocene.
